Tours and Field Trips at The Chocolate Gallery

The Chocolate Gallery in Downtown Bryan is a popular destination for tours and school field trips. The Chocolate Gallery offers tours for elementary (ages 5+), middle school, high school and special needs students.  The cost is $7.00 per student. There is no charge for teachers and teacher’s aides (Maximum 1 free teacher/teacher aid admission per 15 paid students)

All parents will be charged the discounted student fee of $7.00 each when chaperoning a majority student tour.  All parent chaperones must be paid 1 week in advance of the tour.

  We also offer tours for adults for $12 per person (Senior Citizens $10).

Any tours scheduled after 5pm or on a day we are closed will have a flat fee of $18 per person for both adults (No Senior Citizen Discount) and children

If you are Tax Exempt, we must have a correctly completed, signed and dated Tax Exemption Certificate in hand before the invoice for the deposit is sent.  No Exceptions

Our tours and field trips consist of an in-depth tour of The Chocolate Gallery facility and operations, then on to a video in our classroom that covers the production of cacao into chocolate and traditional candy making.  The tour concludes with a tasting of a variety of premium chocolate and chocolate ingredients.  Tours last approximately 1 hour.

Upon request, the Chocolate lecture can focus on how the chocolate industry relates to specific subjects that the students may be studying, such as: Math, Science, Chemistry, Health, Geography, Politics, STEM, Literature (The Candymakers) and History (Europe or Americas). A minimum of 15 paid attendees required for all tours. Groups of 35 or more will be split up into two groups to improve the learning experience.

In order to reserve your date, a non-refundable deposit is required in the amount of 15 attendees.  The final payment is due 1 week (2 weeks for groups of 50+) from the date of your tour at which time you will need to provide the final number of people who will be in attendance.

There will be no refund given if there are fewer than expected people on the day of the tour, as we prepare chocolate tastings in advance based on the scheduled number of attendees.  We will do our best to accommodate any extra people that may arrive the day of, but a chocolate tasting is not guaranteed.
